I have been working with healthcare and information systems for many years. I enjoy taking on new challenges; there is always something new to take on. Being a part of a team that ultimately delivers information to the business entities in order to make informed decisions is very fulfilling.
In addition to the design and implementation of Healthy Planet—Epic’s population health module—Andrea Long oversees the development of IT infrastructure and analytical tools to optimize PHMO operations. Previously, she served as pharmacist analyst for ambulatory medication system configuration, holding certifications in both EpicCare Ambulatory and Willow Inpatient. Dr. Long received her BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
