I’m originally from Western NC and moved to the Triangle in 2005 to attend NC State University, where I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work. I’ve been a licensed clinical social worker at Duke Health since 2013, primarily working with patients and families navigating the organ transplant process. My experience has shown me how deeply health impacts our quality of life, and I enjoy building relationships with patients, understanding what matters most to them, and helping them reach their personal and health-related goals. I believe in the importance of caring for one another and the meaningful difference that human connection and support can make in our lives. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and staying active.
