Autumn Dixon is a Master of Healthcare Administration student at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from North Carolina State University, where her studies sparked a lasting interest in healthcare disparities and the social factors that shape patients’ experiences within the healthcare system. Autumn currently serves as secretary of the MHA Graduate Student Association, supporting student engagement and professional development. She also completed a pharmacy support specialist internship at the Open Door Clinic, where she filled medications for uninsured adults and gained firsthand insight into the importance of patient-centered care for underserved populations. She is eager to contribute to Duke PHMO's HOPE Collaborative while building a career focused on equitable, patient-centered population health management.
