Primary Care Population Health Pharmacist
Amit obtained his pharmacy degree from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy. He also completed a PGY-1 Managed Care and PGY-2 Ambulatory Care residency with Kaiser Permanente of Georgia. Prior to coming to Duke, Amit worked as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Harris Health System in Houston, TX, managing patients with diabetes, hypertension, CAD, hyperlipidemia, and on anticoagulation. His interests also include disease state management in the primary care setting. He has a strong passion for improving patient outcomes and educating the next generation of pharmacists.
