The PHMO Leadership team is pleased to announce Tony Willms, PHMO Manager of Data Engineering, has been appointed as Interim Senior IT Manager for DHTS’ new ACE Cloud Data Team. The ACE Cloud Data Team will focus on moving data efficiently and securely to the Duke Azure environment, as well as using traditional on-premise ETL methods. The team will also support the development and deployment of technologies and solutions that enable data access within the Duke Azure environment. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage knowledge sharing among common team endeavors.
Tony has been a valuable member of Duke Health for over 15 years, most recently as the IT Manager for PHMO’s Data Engineering team. He has played a key role in designing and building systems that meet the team’s analytical and operational needs, from file transfer and database management to application development. Tony will maintain his current role while taking on DHTS responsibilities.
