Holly Alvarado, PharmD, BCPS, CPP
Dr. Alvarado graduated from the UNC-Chapel Hill Eshelman School of Pharmacy in 2007 and is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS). Prior to joining Duke, she worked at Dorothea Dix and then practiced as a clinical pharmacist practitioner (CPP) managing lipid and anticoagulation clinics in various Research Triangle locations. She also serves on the advisory board of Pharmacist Moms, a national group dedicated to advocacy for women in pharmacy. Dr. Alvarado’s specific areas of interest are cardiovascular risk reduction and mental health.
