Gerontological Specialist
Geri Kanne, ANP-BC, GS-C is an adult nurse practitioner who specializes in the care of older adults. She started her nursing career as an inpatient RN at Duke Hospital many years ago. She went on to become a nurse practitioner, where she worked for many years in oncology before transitioning to geriatrics. She assists with geriatrics program development for primary care sites within the Duke Connected Care network and sees patients in Duke’s geriatric specialty clinics. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
