The DukeWELL Pharmacy Services team closed out 2023 with national leadership in pharmacy best practices. In December, Dr. Benjamin Smith, Associate Chief Pharmacy Officer, Population Health & Ambulatory Services for Duke Health, presented at the American Society of Health-System Pharmacy Midyear Clinical Meeting in Anaheim, CA. Ben also co-presented a poster with the PGY2 Ambulatory Care pharmacy resident, Lyric Chaplin, at the Vizient Pharmacy Network Meeting in Anaheim in December. The poster demonstrated Lyric's project to decrease no-show rates for embedded pharmacists. They plan to release the project's results before the Spring.
